The all new 2012 Specialized Status. This is the new trickle down DH bike. Demo 8 performance in a more affordable package. This is their best mid-level DH line to date. To prove it’s worth, their national pro level DH team of Curtis Keene and Brad Benedict will be using it at pro races around the US this next year. All I know is it looks rad, and from initial impressions, will ride great too.

SC County bike shop bros. Including ABS (me, taking the picture), we have Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz, and Capitola represented here. Yes it’s true, occasionally we do hangout together. The annual Specialized Dealer Product Launch is a great time for us to hangout and compare our different bike industry perspectives.
