We at ABS believe that buying a new bike is an investment and what better way to feel comfortable about your investment than to test ride a demo bike.

• You can contact us and reserve a Demo or Rental if you know you are going to be in the area.
• The cost of a Full Suspension Demo is $75/day.  $300 for 5 days. $375 for 7 days.
• The cost of a Hard Tail Rental is $40/day.  $160 for 5 days.  $200 for 7 days.
• Demo & Rental rates are for one business day 10am- 5:30pm.
• Demo (Full Suspension) rates are refunded towards a bike purchase.
• If you run clipless pedals, BRING YOUR OWN PEDALS!  They match your cleats in your shoes.  Not all pedals are compatible.
• Bring your own helmet.  While we do have some available, who wants to wear some old stinky rental helmet?
• We do not rent kids bikes.

Our Demo Policy

These are just the basics – we do have a liability agreement that must be signed on day of rental.

• Bicycles must be returned in the same condition they left the store.
• All broken replacement parts are the responsibility of the rider.
• We do not have any rider insurance available.  You break it you buy it.
• The bike should be returned clean, free of dirt and mud.  If returned muddy there is a $30 charge.
• Weather and trail conditions determine whether or not rentals are available, ABS has final decision on weather conditions.
• Respect our trails and follow proper trail etiquette.
• Bike theft is an issue in and around Santa Cruz.
• Do not leave an expensive demo bike unattended or locked with a cable or u-lock.  It will get stolen!
